Music & Me!!!

Hey yall, my name is Aliyah but on here it should say A.LaShaye which is my stage name. I’m currently a music student here at converse but outside of school I’m an all around musician. Saxophone is my prime instrument that I play and singing would be my second main instrument. I do play many others but those are my strong suits!!! Feel free to stop in and check out my channel on YouTube to see a little more @ A. LaShaye Media. I wanted to started off with giving a little info on myself.

1) Right now this song is my go to song. I really love how soothing and calm it is. It’s very melodic and soft spoken. The singer goes by Pink Sweats, hints in the video his entire band is wearing pink. The chords and his voice really bringing the song together for me. It’s a great way I start off my day and make me feel at peace.

2) This song right here is another go to song that I relate to sometimes when I’m down and sometimes even when I’m in an uplifting mood. This song can make you feel if you really keen on the words. The lead singing voice will draw you to it. It echos and kinda chants out to you in a way. The choir and piano plays a huge role in the song as well and it is a Christian song. The message from this sing to me is so important because it tells me every-time that everything will be okay. And everything will work out, even when you may feel like it’s not going to.

3) This song is called Location which came out about 7 years ago. From my understanding, when this song came out everyone loved it. I do catch a little vine from how smooth and relaxed is gives, but it I don’t fully connect with it for some reason. Every time it comes on my playlist I instantly skip it, but at the same time I know all the words lol. I feel with how the song is sung it gives a choppy feel and that takes away from the smooth flow it over all gives off to me. I still like the song, I’ve seen so many other covers to it and people really made it their own, but the original just don’t sit well with me! Enjoy
